A vendor for a portfolio that crosses state lines.

Portfolios rarely stop at a county line. A national or regional facility management company might hold a medical suite in San Jose, a call center in Sacramento, a distribution building near Sparks and a cluster of offices around Concord, all under one client account. If that sounds like your book of business, Astra Janitorial Services is a local vendor you can sign with directly, and we want to hear from regional firms as much as national ones.

The building mix across our map is wide. The Bay Area leans toward office floors, medical and dental practices and mixed-use retail. The Sacramento and Valley corridors add government and public offices, schools and light industrial space. Around Reno, Sparks, Fernley and Carson City, warehouses and distribution floors sit next to clinics, shops and apartment common areas. Wherever the address is, the work is planned around what your client expects, not around a generic checklist.

Work you can send our way.

The recurring core is janitorial services on the schedule your contract sets, from nightly to a few evenings a week, with office cleaning and commercial cleaning for retail and multi-tenant common areas. During business hours, day porters keep lobbies, restrooms and breakrooms presentable for tenants and visitors.

Project and periodic tickets fit under the same account. That covers floor care from scrub-and-recoat to full refinishing, carpet cleaning, disinfection and sanitizing, a restroom deep clean and post-construction cleaning after a tenant buildout. Warehouse and production floors are covered on our light industrial and warehouse page.

Getting Astra approved as a vendor.

Your onboarding team will want documents first. Fill in our contact form, say the words vendor packet, and a member of our operations staff replies with it by email, ready for your onboarding file.

On insurance, Astra’s general liability limits are $1M for any one occurrence and $2M overall, with umbrella coverage stacked above and workers’ comp for our people. Name the parties you need, typically your company and the building’s owner or tenant, and we list both as additional insured. Expect the certificate in your inbox inside one business day.

Everyone on an Astra crew clears a background check before they set foot in one of your buildings, and they arrive in uniform. Secure properties often bring their own rules, such as an added screening step, a building-issued badge or an escort past locked doors. Those house rules become part of the crew’s routine at that address.

Tickets, limits and the 2 a.m. call.

Route tickets to Astra through your own work-order system. Whatever platform your contract requires, our team works inside it, so your coordinators see status where they expect it rather than in a separate inbox.

An urgent ticket gets a response from us the same day it lands. Our phones pick up urgent calls through the night and across the weekend too, because a flooded restroom on a Saturday doesn’t wait for Monday. Every ticket’s not-to-exceed amount is respected: if a job proves bigger than that ceiling, the extra work waits until you sign off on it.

What you get back after the work.

Each visit to each building is logged with the crew’s arrival and departure, so when your client asks whether the Tuesday clean happened, you already have the answer. Wrap-up on an urgent call-out or a single project includes photos or a brief completion note for your file.

Recurring service gets regular oversight too. Astra supervisors carry out quality inspections and pass the reports or scores to you. That gives you something concrete to bring to your client review instead of a guess.

One name for the whole portfolio.

However many addresses you bring us, your company works with a single named account manager at Astra. Should they be out, your call rolls up to our operations manager, the second name on your escalation sheet, so an issue doesn’t stall on one voicemail. Astra can be reached at any hour, and any message you send gets an answer inside a business day.

Bring us a batch of buildings at once and they launch together on one coordinated schedule, even when they sit in different metros. Billing follows your accounts payable setup: you can be billed building by building or ticket by ticket, with the address and your work order number printed on every invoice, so each one matches its ticket at a glance.

Starting with your first building.

Hand us an address and an Astra walkthrough happens inside two business days. Regular service normally begins within a week of that walkthrough. The visit lets us confirm the cleaning list, the access rules and the hours your client wants us on site.

Ready to add Astra to your vendor list? Use our contact page, tell us which firm you’re with and which buildings you have in mind, and ask for the packet. Operations sends it by email and lines up that first walkthrough.

A few useful answers

Common questions

Can a regional facility management firm sign with Astra directly?

Yes. Astra can contract directly with regional and national facility management companies alike, whether you bring one building or a portfolio spread from the Bay Area to Reno.

Who can be added as additional insured on your certificate?

Your firm, plus whichever client the building belongs to. Astra issues that certificate within a business day, showing the $1M occurrence and $2M aggregate liability limits plus our umbrella policy.

Do you take urgent calls outside business hours?

Yes. We take urgent calls overnight and all weekend, and a ticket flagged urgent gets our reply on the day it was opened.

How do we know a scheduled clean actually happened?

Check the visit log, which records when the crew got there and when it left. Urgent and one-time jobs add photos or a written note at close-out, and our supervisors’ inspection reports or scores are shared with you as well.

How quickly can service start at a new building?

Plan on the walkthrough inside two business days and the first regular shift inside a week of it.

A cleaner workplace starts with one conversation.
